 This pilot project, to launch Ocober first, 2008, stems from the hopes of helping re-establish physical and mental well being of those individuals having suffered trauma from sexual abuse.
The project consists of the construction of a retreat with stables that will house the patients; young women between the ages of 12 to 18 years of age. During their three months stay, psychologists and horse experts collectively will examine thru observation and analysis, the behavioural patterns of the young women. Putting together all observations to see the overall improvement if any, thru their interaction and emotional relations with the horses.
